  Sakura was depressed. She needed some fun. 'Geez, I might as well-' DING DONG!~ The door rang and Sakura answered the door. It was Naruto, holding flowers and a card. "Happy Birthday Sakura!" Naruto said. Sakura was hit like a ton of bricks. Not only did she have Naruto to do something with, she forgot it was her birthday. "Oh, Naruto. Thank you. These are beautiful!" Sakura said, sniffing the sweet smelling aroma of the flowers. "S-So Sakura, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the Cherry Festival? They have bunches of cherries, and lots of cool stuff to do! It will be a birthday present!" Naruto said, hoping that she would accept. "Yeah, I'll go with you! Just let me get dressed!" Sakura said, ushering Naruto to come in. Naruto threw a fist in the air, while Sakura's back was turned, and sat on the couch. "O-Okay. This will be a great night. Nothing will mess this up!" Naruto said, as a voice called to him. "Naruto-kun, turn around." Sakura said, as Naruto turned around. She was wearing a light green jacket with a white sleeveless blouse underneath, with tight blue jeans, showing off her curves. "Wow, Sakura! You look....beautiful." Naruto said, getting up and walking out the door with Sakura.

  Naruto and Sakura arrived at the festival, smelling the cherries. The stands were filled with all types of foods, games, and shows. On the sign at the entrance, it said, 'Fireworks at 6:59PM! Don't miss 'em!' Naruto looked at his watch. It was 5:30PM. "C'mon Sakura! Let's go get some food!" Naruto said, as Sakura nodded.  They ate funnel cake with whipped cream and five cherries on top. They shared it. After that, Sakura and Naruto went to a stand, where you had to eat fifteen cherries within 30 seconds, and you get a beautiful tourmaline and emerald necklace.(A/N: Tourmaline is the birthstone of October, and is a hot pink color). "Sakura, I'm gonna get you that necklace!" Naruto exclaimed. Sakura blushed a bright pink. "Naruto, you know you don't ha-" Naruto interrupted Sakura with a kiss. Sakura relaxed and Naruto broke the kiss. "N-Naruto." Sakura stuttered. Naruto turned to the man and payed 15 ryo. "Ok, in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! GO!" Naruto was off! 15 seconds in and he finished 10 cherries. 'He's gonna win!' Sakura thought. <SHANNARO! NARUTO-KUN IS AWESOME!> Inner Sakrua exclaimed. "3, 2, 1." "DONE!" Right on the dot, Naruto ate the last cherry. "Winner, the young man right here!" The keeper said, handing him the necklace. Sakura jumped on Naruto and kissed him. Hard. Naruto sweated and gulped. "Naruto, thank you!" She hugged him. Naruto put the necklace on Sakura. It matched her eyes. "No problem, Sakura-chan." Naruto smiled.

  Naruto glanced at his watch to see it was 6:50PM! "Sakura, c'mon. I wanna show ya something!" Naruto said, pulling Sakura with him. They went up to a tall hill, overlooking the whole Festival. "Naruto this is beautiful!" "As are you, Sakura-chan." Naruto said, kissing Sakura. Sakura deepened the kiss and rubbed his back. Naruto played with her hair and they released. "Naruto, I-I love you." Sakura said as Naruto kissed her forehead. "I've loved you forever, Sakura." Sakura smiled as the Fireworks set off. One was orange and one was pink. Then, another one shot out, and they combined. Heaven and Earth was reunited. They held each other, dreaming of the future.
