Naruto awoke to a beeping alarm clock and a shattering window. He shot up and looked to see a stone on the ground. 'Geez, not today!' Naruto thought as he threw the rock back out the window, to see three little kids, about his age, running off into the park. Naruto scratched his head, and slammed his alarm clock, breaking it in half. "Well, need another one of those." Naruto murrmmred grogglily. He shuffled into the kitchen, opening a pack of Instant Ramen, and popping it in the microwave. After three minutes, five hours to Naruto, he took it out and greedily ate it. After his meal, he took a quick shower and got dressed, in his usual orange jacket, black undershirt, and orange sweatpants. Naruto had been accepted into the academy, due to a saving of his teacher, and showing off a new found jutsu, incrypted inside of the Forbidden Scroll.

~~FLASHBACK~~

Naruto stood, frightened as Mizuki rose his Giant Shurikken. "DIE Demon!!!!!!" Mizuki screamed, bringing down the weapon to his head. Naruto covered his head, waiting for impact. Nothing. He opened his eyes, behind the fragile arms of his covered in cloth, to see his teacher Iruka Umino. "Naruto run!" Iruka said, coughing up blood. Naruto now saw that the shurikken was injected in his spine. "Well, well, well. You protect the demon. How pitiful!" Mizuki said, gradually pulling out the shurikken. Iruka held in the pain, shooting up to his neck. Naruto was shocked. "I-Iruka-sensei, is it true!?" Naruto asked, hoping that it wasn't. Iruka looked to the side and nodded slowly. Naruto got up and ran away in tears. "NARUTO!!!!!!!" Iruka said. Mizuki started his manical laughter. "Now, that you are in this, time to die, old friend!" Mizuki said, raising his weapon to impact the back of Iruka's head. "Hold it right there!" a voice said behind Mizuki. Mizuki stopped his attack, and turned around. There, stood Naruto, Kyuubi chakra surrounding. "N-No! He has released!" Mizuki said, holding his scream. "KAGE BUSHIN NO JUTSU!!!!!!!" Naruto screamed, crossing his two fingers. Suddenly, the whole forest was covered in clones. "A-Amazing!" Iruka said, not believing his eyes. Mizuki was beaten for two hours straight, dead. Iruka decided to give him the chance, handing him the headband, "You pass!" Iruka said, tackled by Naruto.

Naruto tied on his headban and walked out the door. Today was the day he would be put on a Genin team. 'Man! Sakura-chan is gonna be there!' Naruto thought, having a crimson blush, covering his face. He would confess to her, hoping she would do the same. To his unknowing, someone was watching him, a girl.
